Royang Small Dredger Machine

A small dredger machine is a small-sized, hydraulically controlled and assembled river dredger. It is used for river channel dredging, canal dredging and water storage dredging. The dredger body adopts a detachable box-type structure. Its detachable design allows easy on-site assembly and convenient transportation by road, railway or container, making installation and relocation between work sites efficient. The power system can be configured as an electric system or a diesel engine drive system according to customer requirements.

The small dredger machine is equipped with the following equipment: traversing device, cutter ladder lifting device, spuds and deck crane. Its working process is as follows: the cutter head cuts underwater sand and mud into a slurry mixture, which is then pumped through the dredging pump to the pipeline on the small dredger machine; finally, the slurry is discharged to the required location on land via the pipeline.

All dredging devices on the small dredger machine are hydraulically driven and centrally controlled. The operator cabin is detachable, which reduces the dredger’s height during navigation, enabling it to pass under bridges easily and safely. When transported over long distances between non-connected water areas, the dredger body can be disassembled and transported by road trucks or railway. The dredger can be fixed in place with anchoring booms and a spud carriage.

Hydraulic system

The hydraulic system is one of the most critical components of both small dredger machine and wheel bucket dredger. It has very high and strict performance requirements and serves as the core power system of the entire dredger. The dredger’s lateral traction winches, lifting winch and cutter head are all driven by hydraulic motors.

A complete hydraulic system includes hydraulic oil tanks, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic valve manifolds, solenoid valves, hydraulic pipes, hydraulic components, electric actuators and other parts.

Each cutter head is fitted with 5 blades, and each blade has 8 teeth. It is made of high-chromium material for excellent wear resistance.

The cutter head is driven by a hydraulic motor, and the cutter bearing is equipped with a lubrication and sealing unit.

Each small dredger machine must undergo thorough testing before leaving the factory to ensure reliable performance at the customer’s work site and save the customer time and costs. Before testing, we will send an invitation to the customer to inspect the equipment’s performance in person. Only after obtaining the customer’s approval will the small dredger machine be transported to the port for shipment.

How is the small dredger machine transported?

Answer: There are two main transportation methods for the small dredger machine. Models smaller than RYD350 can be easily shipped in containers, while models larger than RYD350 are transported by bulk carriers.
