A river sand cutter suction dredger is a self-propelled or non-self-propelled portable cutter suction dredger. Its hull adopts a detachable box-type structure. The detachable design allows easy on-site assembly and convenient transportation by road, railway or container, making installation and relocation between work sites efficient. The power system can be configured as an electric system or a diesel engine drive system according to customer requirements.
The river sand cutter suction dredger is equipped with the following equipment: traversing device, cutter ladder lifting device, spuds and deck crane. Its working process is as follows: the cutter head cuts underwater sand and mud into a slurry mixture, which is then pumped through the dredging pump to the pipeline on the river sand cutter suction dredger; finally, the slurry is discharged to the required location on land via the pipeline.

Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system is one of the most critical components of both river sand cutter suction dredgers and wheel bucket dredgers.
