1. Cuter suction dredger Introduction

A cutter suction dredger (CSD) is a specialized dredging equipment integrating dredging, conveying and discharging functions. It is mainly composed of a cutter head, suction pipe, dredge pump, and conveying pipeline. The cutter head rotates to cut and loosen underwater soil, sediment or rock, and the dredge pump generates negative pressure to suck the mixture of sediment and water into the suction pipe, then transports it to the designated area through the pipeline.

2. Applicable Working Environments

It is widely applicable to various water areas and complex working conditions, including rivers, lakes, harbors, estuaries, lagoons and coastal areas. It can adapt to shallow and deep water operations, and is suitable for dredging work in environments with different sediment types such as sand, mud, and gravel.
